OLA: A great step towards harmonisation of training across the world

ESA organises the most extended and successful On-Line Assessment (OLA) in anaesthesiology ever.

On Friday 8 April 2016 at 14:00 (CEST), candidates simultaneously sat the On-Line Assessment (OLA) in 95 centres throughout the world in 10 different languages including Chinese. A total of 1335 anaesthesiologists registered for the OLA.  The assessment was offered in 80 European and 15 non-European centres.  Centres were opened for the first time in Brazil, Oman and China making the OLA a truly global examination

The On-Line Assessment was designed to help young anaesthesiologists assess their level of knowledge and training. Their heads of department also use the OLA in order to evaluate the training needs of their trainees. >>More information and photographs of the centres
