ITA (In-Training Assessment)

In 2014, 250 candidates sat the ITA against 286 last year. The participation rate is still decreasing this year as a consequence of the expansion of the OLA since its start in 2013. The shift from ITA to OLA will probably continue in the coming years.

OLA (On-Line Assessment)

On 11th April 2014, 303 candidates sat this computer-based assessment across 39 centres (against 203 candidates across 36 centres in 2013). The OLA was offered in 7 languages in 2014 while it was only available in English in 2013.

The next OLA will take place on 17th April 2015 and will be offered in 9 languages: English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Turkish. Online applications for this OLA will close on 2nd March 2015.

Since 2014, the Netherlands has adopted the OLA as national exam.

EDAIC Part II (oral examination)

A total of 542 candidates sat the Part II examinations in 2014. 352 were successful and 190 failed (pass rate: 64.9%).

New Part II centres: Istanbul and London in 2013; Warsaw in 2014; Paris, Valencia and Maastricht in 2015.
